'Oklahoma State can have paddles but Tech can't throw tortillas' might be one of the dumbest takes in media day history. Tech media in full-on crybaby mode.
If OSU was throwing the paddles on the field I’m sure they would be banned. Tech can slap the tortillas on the wall I’m guessing.
Scott Frost really comes off as the stereotypical meathead. If UCF is good whatsoever, it'll all be on the coordinators and assistants. But, Frost will gladly buy the cocktails.

A number of years ag, I was at OSU for a game (Knott/Klein era). The students were pounding their paddles. All the freaking time. But early in the game, the fugle horn guy played the da-dah-dt-dah thing and we responded with the Go-Fight-Win or I-S-U (whatever the response was.) A few minutes later security came and took him and the horn away. Said it violated the Conference ban on artificial noise makers.
F*ck OSU.

I read it the same way as BCC, everyone will have a combined Big12/Monster Patch
Could be the minority here, but I think this is cool. Atleast it’s not like nationwide or black rock. Monster (although apart of PepsiCo) has some personality with it.
I don't like it, I don't think it's cool, but what else are we gonna do? We legit have no option.
Yeah, I’m generally not a fan of monster. The bigger issue I have is that they’re also changing the name, so the official name is “Monster Energy Big 12 Football”
Initially thought the same. Assuming it’s on the 25 yard line where the conference logo is now, we are actually in the upper tier of field rights, per Gemini
