And Men's and Women's Basketball. That logo is going to be all over everything for a while.Yeah, I’m generally not a fan of monster. The bigger issue I have is that they’re also changing the name, so the official name is “Monster Energy Big 12 Football”
Scott Frost really comes off as the stereotypical meathead. If UCF is good whatsoever, it'll all be on the coordinators and assistants. But, Frost will gladly buy the cocktails.
He probably doesn't remember it.The Nebraska coaching stint didn't knock some humility into him?
Well bring on the fake National Championships
Oil money makes Texans do crazy s**t! Just remember back to the old SWC daysIt's been hard to watch the Tech fans, media, and burners on X going absolutely mental with "everyone is out to get them", "the league is trash", and "they're going to the B1G". I truly felt like this was going to be more tame media day, and just try to make it water under the bridge. Boy was i wrong. You even have the Gauchos going after Jake Brend. I used to think the Gauchos were reasonable! They have absolutely become the new Texas, but with even more insane little brother syndrome (arguably worst than A&M). Is this just a state of Texas culture thing? Even if TTU left hypothetically (will never happen), but would Baylor or TCU start acting like this? Would OU fans and media be acting like this if they were still in the XII?
Seems like no big deal for an extra $1M a year.Ugh, I’m not happy about that change
You can have 2 so I think at worst this takes up one spot. Maybe neither. Either way, I don't think Iowa State was going to get $1M a year for a patch spot locally, so I'll take it.So it reads like if you don’t have a patch sponsor monster is your auto default?
Been in Texas a long time. It is a state of Texas thing. Looks like it's just a Cy thing. Maybe sponsoring the cheer squad or just a specific sponsorship to put a logo on Cy. This is from last season (second and third slides):Apologies if I’m late to the game on this, but I noticed a Re/Max logo on Cy’s jersey from a video on the Big 12’s instagram. Are they going to be the jersey patch sponsors?
