Dolly Parton was seen in playful spirits at her long-awaited public appearance following some health challenges, even taking a jab at Buc-ee's.
It just makes sense for them to expand to DM, its one of the few places were a major east/west and north/side interstate comes together. They already have a store in Missouri, and one coming to Kansas, another coming to Omaha. DM one would think is one of their next expansions.
Hate me all you want but I refuse to fan girl over a gas station. It feels like the Savannah banana thing to me. Just over the top tacky.
My two minor gripes:
1. Depending on location it takes a long time to even get into the lot, then you park 1/4 mile away. Plan on spending at least 45 minutes if you're planning on getting fuel too.
2. No indoor nor even outdoor seating/dining areas. Stopped at one in GA and ended up sitting under the lift-gate of the SUV in the rain to eat.

Sticky floors at the one I went to, the place is basically a joke, a fad, likely to eventually go bankrupt due to bloat.
