Are they playing a putt putt course this week or what? 18 under after two rounds is ridiculous.
It's not an insanely long course, but the course rating from the tips is 77.9

Basically, that equates to a +13 handicapped for the guys in second place

It shows how good those guys are.

Play lift, clean, and cheat on a soft course and -35 is the goal.

Last week, all they did was whine about hard putting was. Today -9 made the cut by 3 strokes.

Which is better? I prefer human demolition over course demolition.

If they are as good as they say they are then make the conditions harder. I love seeing them struggle. And before anyone says the score to par doesn’t matter as long as they are close in score, I disagree completely. A close tournament with the winner being +1 like shinnecock a decade ago is way more exciting than the winner battling at -24. Any real golf fan agrees

Thankfully the Texas Mudball swing of the tour ends after next week.

Course is relatively easy, no denying that, but if you give pros soft conditions, it’s pretty much over. They can just throw darts. These guys could destroy 8,000 yard courses if the greens are soft.

The funny part is that they spent $25M to remodel this course and make it tougher. They were only going to spend $12M but doubled it. If rain ruins a $25M remodel, you probably wasted your money.

And this field is relatively poor.

Si Woo leads Clark by 1 & Scheffler by 2 as they head to the Back 9.
