I wondered the same thing. I'm not sure how long he's been absent.Wonder what's up with Boog Schiambi. He's been out with an illness for a few weeks. I think the same thing happened last year too.

Yeah, remember that. They brought up the ICubs announcer.Wonder what's up with Boog Schiambi. He's been out with an illness for a few weeks. I think the same thing happened last year too.
Has it been announced illness?I wondered the same thing. I'm not sure how long he's been absent.
I don’t know. I see a lot of last years team in this years team. We were hot as hell first half of the season last season and then absolutely fell apart after the all star break. This team is good enough to have some winning streaks, but also bad enough to have some bad losing streaks as well. Which at the end of the day doesn’t bode well in October.I’m not concerned about the offense. You don’t go on two 10 game win streaks on accident (and averaged like 7 runs a game during that whole stretch)
The SP issue is going to be a struggle though, and not easily fixed anytime soon.
Because it's not a national broadcast on TBS. And because MLB blackout rules are insanely out of date a dumb. Why was today's game blacked out on TBS in central Iowa?
I'm very familiar with the second sentence. I pay for mlb.tv to get Braves games, and it's blacked out there and on TBS. Absolute insanity. Also tried to VPN to Arizona, with no luck.Because it's not a national broadcast on TBS. And because MLB blackout rules are insanely out of date a dumb.

It was blacked out on YouTube tv as well. They don’t carry Marquee.Mediacom carries the Marquee Network in the Cubs market area (Iowa for us) so if the game is available there the blackout is enabled for other providers carrying the game. The current contract structure, which will hopefully be changed in the next few years, does all it can to try and point you to subscribing to Mediacom (or other providers carrying Marquee) to watch Cubs games, hence the blackout.
Iowa is THE black hole for MLB blackouts. Nuts.Mediacom carries the Marquee Network in the Cubs market area (Iowa for us) so if the game is available there the blackout is enabled for other providers carrying the game. It's not based on provider. It has nothing to do with Mediacom, just that you have to watch the game on Marquee if you live in the cubs blackout area however you can get it. Prime, Mediacom, Hulu, or a direct subscription through Marquee are at least some of the options. It was blacked out on YouTube tv as well. They don’t carry Marquee.
Face Sale...not going to be easy.Really could use a dub tomorrow.
