He also said they expect to take big cuts to what they're paid. (also implying the contract isn't voidable)Just saw another article where Rahm wasn't sure he had a way out of his contract, but LIV not being able to pay that contract seems like a pretty obvious (and likely) way out.
I don't understand where the CEO expects to gather funding from. Whose going to pony up the money for that tour? Buying teams?.. yeah right. Those teams aren't even worth what the teams in the TGL are worth. He also said they expect to take big cuts to what they're paid. (also implying the contract isn't voidable)
The new money wrangler in charge also said the team part of it "was starting to make money".
I have no idea what that would even mean, nobody attends, nobody watches.
Every major bank/money wrangler has already said, “Are you ******* kidding me?”.I don't understand where the CEO expects to gather funding from. Whose going to pony up the money for that tour? Buying teams?.. yeah right. Those teams aren't even worth what the teams in the TGL are worth.
Sounds like he is putting a lot of lipstick on that pigI don't understand where the CEO expects to gather funding from. Whose going to pony up the money for that tour? Buying teams?.. yeah right. Those teams aren't even worth what the teams in the TGL are worth.
I don't really agree with what he says but I've come around on Bryson a little bit.Bryson going through the same thing: https://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/48688305/bryson-dechambeau-plans-focus-youtube-liv-golf-ends
No, Bryson, the PGA Tour does not need you and doesn't think you can do great things for them. No, your LIV teams aren't worth anything at all. No, you aren't getting financed until the 2030s. The only ego that needs to get dropped, is your own. What's best for the game is golf is to stop making fake spin-off leagues and parlaying that into Youtube channels.
Youtube is such a better place for golf. It's so much more entertaining listening to the guys during the round. The Bryan Bros and Grant Horvat starting the Your Golf Tour is going to be awesome.I don't really agree with what he says but I've come around on Bryson a little bit.
His Youtube videos are super enganging and it's fun to watch
His handlers did a great job creating an engagement farm and reshaping his online persona for him. Whatever PR firm he has is incredibly good at their jobs.I don't really agree with what he says but I've come around on Bryson a little bit.

He's certainly never going to have to make a choice in regard to money again (unless he is horrible with it), so to me, it just depends on what drives him and what he wants to accomplish.Bryson going through the same thing: https://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/48688305/bryson-dechambeau-plans-focus-youtube-liv-golf-ends

How can they not penalize people the way they penalized Brooks? That seems like a stiff penalty which I understand...but I would think that should be the floor of penalties going forward. He's certainly never going to have to make a choice in regard to money again (unless he is horrible with it), so to me, it just depends on what drives him and what he wants to accomplish.
If he wants to do his own thing and build his own things, he can do that, though he may find that his relevance fades the more disconnected he gets from the mainstream golfing world.
My guess is that he's using that as a bargaining chip so that he can rejoin the tour with only a little penalty. It's obvious that the PGA Tour would want him back, even if he's not a critical need for them.
I don't think they'll lessen the penalty for Bryson (or anyone else), but Bryson is worth a lot to the tour, so I'd bet that he'll get a similar deal. How can they not penalize people the way they penalized Brooks? They also look like giant cucks if they don't punish them. Letting them off merely sets those players up to run off again when the next conflict comes by.How can they not penalize people the way they penalized Brooks? He already sold his relevance. He's certainly never going to have to make a choice in regard to money again (unless he is horrible with it), so to me, it just depends on what drives him and what he wants to accomplish.
