I’m definitely still bitter, but I will always think of the FB coaching staff and the guys they took with them as quitters. A huge part of that will always be the memory of what a letdown the 2025 football season was. I’ll remember the abysmal performances against BYU, Colorado, Cincy and Arizona St, along with getting our doors blown off in the conference title game way more than the UCF comeback or anything good

Give it a rest dude. Both are busy and cw has had health issues in his family. Both put in lots of time to make this a great cyclone site. If you don't like who's on it, you don't have to listen to it!

Then just don't post a podcast if both aren't able to do it. Pretty simple. Posting a Williams and Blum podcast with Brend and pence doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Or Brend and Blum or whatever combo of people they have. If it was not Williams and Blum like one time in like 6 months it would be fine. But it's like every other week. Just some constructive criticism. You don't have to agree with it, that's cool.

While I've absolutely enjoyed your contributions to this site, I just can't go down this road with you. Those guys are allowed to have lives and its the off season. You're also short sighting just how amazing some of our other talented reporters and writers on this site. Jake has been phenomenal. "Williams and Blum" is the brand name but its just not possible to always have them together. It's great to have free Cyclone content.

I appreciate you saying that. I know they are allowed to have lives and that's totally fine. It doesn't need to be called Williams and Blum if it's not Williams and Blum. That's all I'm saying. It's like airing PTI without Kornheiser and Wilbon. Doesn't make any sense.

I think it's just unfortunate because the show takes a big hit when one of them isn't on. Jake seems like a good guy and great Cyclone, I just have issues listening to his speaking style. Get to the point, Jake! I give him some leeway because his training and experience is in TV broadcasting which focuses on slowing your speech and telling a story, where a podcast requires quicker back and forth and a more off the cuff style. Say what you will about CW, but he does bring an energy and entertainment factor to every pod while Blum fulfills the measured, knowledgeable longtime fan perspective.

Anyways, it's the offseason, so it makes sense that they're giving the young guys a go.

I think you're confusing two separate things. The name is a brand...its all branding.

When Dan Patrick isn't there, they don't change the name of the show...same with a million other brand names.
