Pearson will give guys problems at 133. He’s long and tough to score on.Maybe you should look at results. I’m pretty sure all those matches were at 141. He was a 133-pounder being asked to wrestle up a weight what do you expect.

Was his soldier salute up at 141?Maybe you should look at results. I’m pretty sure all those matches were at 141. He was a 133-pounder being asked to wrestle up a weight what do you expect.
Imagine being upset about a realistic assessment of a wrestler’s results.I wish I was so prescient that I could make an assessment of a wrestler's future career based on only a few matches--and tell all on internet forums to show how smart I am. But I'm not.
I see Sokamoto was Japan's 57kg (125) entry in the freestyle world championships last year. So, he must be pretty good. Hopefully, he will adapt well to folkstyle.

I’d love it, and would be a great fit. What is the status of his doping suspension? Can he even be in the room?Hearing rumblings of staff addition..
Thomas Gilman.
No idea. Again, just a rumor I heard from someone connected to the program. I do not know the validity of it.I’d love it, and would be a great fit. What is the status of his doping suspension? Can he even be in the room?
I hated that guy for the stunt he pulled on KD at the social event 5+ years ago.Hearing rumblings of staff addition..
Thomas Gilman.
I remember hearing that as well.I hated that guy for the stunt he pulled on KD at the social event 5+ years ago.
Later I heard Metcalf talk about the "IC/bubble" Gilman had been in and how it clouds the mind. Then later (if I remember correctly) TK told either KD and/or BM that Metcalf was correct and that it took Gillman to get away from IC/bubble to realize it.
Anyone else recall something like this happening...?
May just be semantics, but that phrasing makes it sound like he got popped for PEDs while his suspension was for failures to update his whereabouts with USADA. Also all those instances were after his last competition which was 2024 Olympic trials where he lost to Spencer.I’d love it, and would be a great fit. What is the status of his doping suspension? Can he even be in the room?
Makes sense the job opening specified 125-133Hearing rumblings of staff addition..
Thomas Gilman.
Our new head coach is a great example of how opinions can change about a person.Boy, not sure how I would feel about a Gilman hire. My douche-o-meter was exploding listening to this guy at Night of Conflict back in the day when he was sent to do TNT's public displays of "we're too good to show up, but make them hate us even more". Mission accomplished, I guess.
Dresser, will have the final say I'm sure, and he has proven he believes people can change and willing to bury the hatchet. But my God....
Pretty sure Metcalf will have the final say. And of course, PollardBoy, not sure how I would feel about a Gilman hire. I was the same way when we hired Metcalf but time as healed old wounds.Boy, not sure how I would feel about a Gilman hire. The Iowa City bubble is a real thing with these guys. I highly doubt ISU would have set up that exhibition match between Gilman and Ortega a couple of years ago if they felt Gilman hadn't redeemed himself a bit.Our new head coach is a great example of how opinions can change about a person.
