This is assuming we can find 3m + laying around in Hyvee and other donors pockets. Which seems challenging lolAnd that should be a no brainer - Bye bye walkon

I'll throw in $50.This is assuming we can find 3m + laying around in Hyvee and other donors pockets. Which seems challenging lol
Rise would not be the player to leave if Milan came back. It would be Prather. His commitment was held back until Milan officially entered the portal. Probably from his end as much as ISU's. He came to play, and likely wouldn't with Milan on the roster.
I'm sure every poster here would do that swap in a heartbeat, but let's be clear who actually leaves if Milan were to come back.
Problem is Milan could hurt his draft stock playing on a team like that. The slim odds that he can do as good as he did this past season on any team seems to be why he told Otz to go ahead and spend the money ISU had ready for himKentucky will likely be so desperate they will pay Milan almost any amount imaginable. Their roster looks putrid for a Kentucky team as of now
I think he's going pro and will be a first round pick - Hough was yet another guy who could have been in contention for a draft spot with Milan who isn't going to the draft - there's been a lot of them. From what we have been told returning to Iowa State seems very unlikely. Both from a money POV and roster POV. Would need to cut the walk on Rise to bring Milan back I believe.
Why is that a problem? Walkons serve at the pleasure of the program. Sounds rough but we’re in a tough business. From what we have been told returning to Iowa State seems very unlikely. Both from a money POV and roster POV. Would need to cut the walk on Rise to bring Milan back I believe.
I shouldn’t have said the roster thing. Because obviously that’s a no brainer for Milan. I don’t think Iowa State has the resources to pay him even close to market value for him like we did when the portal opened. It would take Milan playing for charity wage or Stine SeedsWhy is that a problem?
Late first round seems logical. A team that was in contention that is maybe just a knockdown shooter away from being great.I think he's going pro and will be a first round pick - Hough was yet another guy who could have been in contention for a draft spot with Milan who isn't going to the draft - there's been a lot of them.
But if things did fall into place where he did come back - I'd expect one of the incoming Freshman would end up elsewhere.
Agree. Hard to top setting an all-time NCAA record.Honestly I think Milan's stock only goes down if he returns. It's almost impossible to duplicate the season he had this year. I think he goes pro. I could be totally wrong.
Call Fareway! Audi won't need it anymore. This is assuming we can find 3m + laying around in Hyvee and other donors pockets. Which seems challenging lol

Considering the guys that have decided they are going back to school, at this point I’m having a hard time NOT seeing Milan going in the first round. He is certainly the best 3-point guy in the draft, there’s no way at least one of the first THIRTY picks doesn’t go there. And probably a title contender (late 1st round ) to boot.Agree. Hard to top setting an all-time NCAA record.
I believe Rise's roster spot is important, as was the CEO and Kelderman. Guys at the end of the bench and are all in, while knowing they won't play except maybe a minute in a blowout. I would expect a guy who came here to play would leave if Milan returns, probably Mitchell or Prather. Why is that a problem? Walkons serve at the pleasure of the program. Sounds rough but we’re in a tough business.
Financially I can just about guarantee if Milan decides he would like to come back they could pass the hat around at the corporate level and suddenly we make a good team great.
We did not lose Rock. He never playedI feel like Pleta has the potential to help us get over losing Rock, even if Rock does become the next great big, but even still, would be nice to have both for the next couple years imo
Idc. I responded to a comment regarding Rise having to be cut if Milan wanted to return. Never said I thought he would.I believe Rise's roster spot is important, as was the CEO and Kelderman. I also don't think Milan ever plays another game in a Cyclone uniform.
