I find it hard to believe they didn't really start talking about this until a couple weeks ago. Guessing this has been in the works for quite a long time. I don't imagine that Pollard decided to cut gymnastics without a plan of what was next.
There are very few, if any, people in wrestling better suited for the job Dresser is taking.
I'd much rather hear from the new/promoted individuals.

This was pretty clearly premeditated. The gymnastics cut was likely coming either way, Pollard just tried to frame it that it was the athletes' fault to pass the buck.
The chills I just got hearing metcalf say his kids grew up cyclones is WILD. To go along with with what @stuclone talked about is just mind boggling
