With Blazers getting into the Playoffs the Bulls get their 1st Round Pick now. So they will have probably 2 Top 15 picks or so. So they got that going for them at least....which is nice.

With the big story of tanking in the NBA this year, cool to see the Blazers exceed expectations and nab the 7th seed. That team easily could have folded up shop. Their coach got arrested in a federal gambling investigation one game into the season.

Cool to see Dame on the bench for them supporting the team too. Not sure a lot of superstars would do that if they were out for the season.

Yeah, given the Billups story, new owner, tanking would have been easy. The current coach had a lot riding on this season, might be his only chance to head coach.

Keeping track of this stuff is.. difficult. Not the best year to pay off the pick, but it does unlock draft capital options for the summer and opens up the bucks pick for the Blazers in 2028. Which might be valuable depending on what Giannis does.

I feel like the officials in this LA Houston game are in over their heads. They’ve lost control of the game and players are just hunting FTs. No flow to the game.
