So not saying anything is “playing games”??? She has every right to take her time and figure things out. Portal doesn’t even officially open for a few more days.

Yes. Like I said you either WANT to be here or you DON'T.
We know turnover has increased, largely because of NIL. A nine-player exodus, however, is not normal and it’s not the outcome we should accept. All the money and time spent recruiting is wasted, program stability collapses, the fanbase grows despondent, and questions about the program’s integrity and future success arise. This level of mass departure—NIL or not—is unacceptable. I love my school, and I refuse to accept that “everybody” is doing this to such an extreme degree.
C'mon bud let's take a step back from the ledge here. There will be a team playing next fall, we know we have 3 we will bring in new players. Hell I think everyone gets a stipend plus a free education and all the other perks of being a college athlete. There are plenty of kids that are willing to take that gig. It might not be the ones you want but there will be a team next yr.
And all teams are not created equal. Yeah, there are more transfers than there used to be, but you probably still would not typically expect a team that was slated to be so senior-laden see a ton of transfers if all was well. This was seemingly being built to be Bill's last team before the wheels fell off.
Audi wants to be in Ames. But she understands that doing so will come with grave risk to her legacy and career. She is loyal to Bill and the program but she doesn’t want to be on a team that doesn’t or barely makes the NCAAT in her senior year. There’s no way of knowing yet whom Bill will be able to get from the portal, so she has to figure out what is important to her with few clues as to who she’s be playing with her senior year. If the team doesn’t make the tourney then every season of her career will have been worse than the previous. This isn’t something that anyone would be able to decide quickly.
Did I ever say hate? No,just state your plans. I welcome Audi’s return if she does.
Looking at what is left of the team, time for a bit of a shopping list in the portal
Based on Bill’s style:
Center (2 if Audi leaves)
2 Power forwards / tall guards (rebounding and can shoot at least 30% from 3)
2 3-pt wings… need at least 40% from 3
1 tall guard
1 PG
This is based on AJ being the 2 (need 2 extras for foul trouble) and EP as a 3/4 but not shooting. Figure the Freshmen will be PG and hopefully Wilson or Beatty coming back, still need extra after watching fouls on some of the spots last year.

Well, right now, EP is looking like are #3 scorer on the team.
Is it bad that at this point, I'm glad? Reboot the system with a new coach and a new identity.
I could see that silver lining if Bill actaully retired from this, but my guess based on Lindey's tweets is that he will ride it out.
I feel sorry for AJ.
To bad, was really hoping she stayed. Be very interested to see where she goes.
