So I suppose in terms of roster building, they're going to have to decide what they'll pay Milan if he returns and hold that sum out of the budget until the draft/return decision comes down. While that makes it a bit more difficult, I guess if he decides to stay in the draft, there's a good chance that we'll have a decent chunk of money available for a later signee.

I do think Milan is very likely to come back and he's worth the inconvenience of the wait, but I do think there will be guys in the portal in a similar situation that will become available in that timeframe.

Maybe it has been discussed, but Williams and Blum alluded to our financial situation improving significantly in the last month, in a way that hasn't be revealed publicly yet? Not sure what that is about, but it sounds exciting.

I like this kid as a Heise replacement. Good ball handler (giggity) and passer, really good rebounder for a guard, plays tough defense. As a shooter he is very streaky. He'll light it up for a few weeks then go cold for a few weeks.

Toure, Batemon, Williams, Wiggins, Carson and Gray would be an excellent back court, imo. I doubt we play all 6 of those guys though.

I envision him as a second string guy that comes off the bench, sends a couple blocked shots into the seats, rim runs and opposing fans are like who the **** is this guy?

Hey bud this is a process that can’t be hurried. We need to argue for at least 10 pages. Then debate any rumors that people heard at Casey’s for 7.25 pages. By then we will have news of a coach following a transfers mom, debate that for 3 pages…at some point we will get our first transfer to be interested at about 50-60 pages in. The interesting thing there is that they rebound in very different ways. They had very similar overall rebounding rates, but Buchanan's came from rebounding about the same number of misses on the offensive end as he did the defensive, while Jefferson stood out on the defensive end. I think a lot of that is just part of Otz's strategy of defensive rebounding--having the 5-man box out and expecting the guards and forwards to come to the ball.

Blake was actually the 3rd best defensive rebounder behind Jefferson and Heise. Pleta was also on par with Toure’s defense rebounding numbers. Both Blake and Pleta don’t have bad numbers but definitely will need some improvement going into next year.

I'm pretty sure we have partnered with some businesses that are giving NIL. Milan already has a few NIL opportunities I've seen him do on TikTok. I think HyVee is pledging some cash as well. Also, I have heard that JP is moving away from the whole NIL pot thing as well so instead of all the sports pooling NIL together. Now if you want your money to go to Basketball, it will go to basketball instead of a collective pot. I have no clue how accurate that WeWill pot thing is.

Didn't it come out that he was all in on USC until Riley became available? I think he wanted out, he was heading somewhere as soon as a big spender became available.

We were lucky to keep him as long as we did. He is a tier one coach and we are a tier two football school. He was waiting for the right job to get him closer to home and it came up. Can't blame him.
