RTT...20-20 hindsight.

It was trivia weekend with my niece this past weekend, unluckily we did not defend our championship, we will try again next yr. We lost on the final question we only had half of a two part question. I was fun to swing by some of the bars I used to frequent when I worked up there steady. It is kind of fun having a group of friends that you only see yearly. It is like my BB friends pretty much only see them Nov thru March.

Have a great time in Chicago KC!!! (also everyone else who goes!!)

On my way to a job that can make you a little concerned. I am meeting a guy at a place then he’s gonna take me to another place. Show me something that maybe I’m working on or giving advice about, not 100% positive what I’ll be doing today.

We decided to rescue a dog over the weekend. Yesterday morning, we drove to the Animal Shelter in Monticello and made it back just in time for the game. We adopted a 4-month-old Blue Heeler/Beagle mix. Poor thing is quite skittish and spent most of the time hiding in the corner when we weren't holding her, but she's warming up quickly. She loves being outside but prefers to come inside soon after.

I'm not sure when I'll introduce her to Dog. While Dog is good with kids and other dogs, this young one needs more socialization first. We won’t be naming her “Dog 2”; instead, we’ll call her Tillie, with her formal name being Matilda. My wife tells me that despite having Blue Heeler in her, Tillie won’t be a working dog, and I have no intentions of making her one.

Dog is a Collie that someone dropped off in the county years ago, likely from Davenport. He actually does quite well with cattle and has even helped separate pigs. I wonder how he would do with sheep?

I can post a new family picture if interested.

Of course a dude named Frog would have a dog named Dog...
