Some might say that's why I specified "most" people rather than "all" people.
or you mean less then 50% of people. I mean I've filled up on a gallon or less in my tank a few times before in multiple vehicles. I think we did 18gal in my wife's prior SUV that had an 18.8gal tank once lol. still a 5min refill and on our way.

There's some much hair-splitting about a thing millions of people already use worldwide just fine. BEVs work fine for normal people. Normal people have already proven that over the last decade+.

BUT WHAT IF I DON'T PLUG IT IN? Well, dumbass, try to plug it in. No different from your phone, the seven tablets your kids have, your work laptop, the 500 other battery-powered things people have all over the house... This is not hard.

big difference in those other devices. I can still use them as they are charging. my work laptops often need to be plugged in after a weekend. my work truck takes a 5min or less refill and I'm on the road to where ever. what would the EV equivalent be for that? and that will forever still be the biggest issue with EVs.

The equivalent is more or less those swappable battery stations China is trying to work out. Unknown if that's a real solution or not at this point. Kinda makes sense from a tech perspective.

Or, alternatively, have an IQ higher than room temp and it's simply not an issue on the daily.

you mean the ones someone here has posted about where they take up more real-estate, only really work for prescribed route vehicles. and better hope you get a battery that is 100%?

or another issue can you take one from station brand A and swap it at station brand B?

Solid state batteries will be pretty equivalent.

how often do most forget to plug in after the day? like I can forget to fill up at the end of the day and still hit a gas station in 5 min or less the next day. the closest fast charger is 15 miles away still if I am even going that direction.
Probably the same number that run out of gas on the way to the gas station. I think, and I have zero data to back this up, but BEV owners are probably more conscientious of charging than average ICE owners of making sure their tanks are filled.

ok recharge an EV out of charge on the road how? an ICE vehicle takes an easily portable source.

I've never been dumb enough to run out of gas or battery, so I can't answer your question. I guess i would treat like a breakdown.

How many EV's have you seen on the side of the road because they are out of battery?

I've never either, and there are certainly those who will with either. so again how do you charge an EV that has run out of charge on the side of the road?

LOL
