Yeah we’re a great defensive team but being 3-16 from 3 doesn’t usually bode well for a dub so the fact we’re up is great. There’s also some weird voodoo magic with Heise hitting 3s and the rest of the team starting to knock em down. Let’s go

An unsung moment (among several) in first half was when Toure fought to keep possession after missed shot, leading to Milan 3. I think at that point the deficit was still 5(?) and the fierce rally seemed to be interrupted.

Batemon played pretty solid defense and rebounded ok that first half. He had some wide open looks he’s gonna knock a few down second half

Yeah we also had a pretty big comeback at Hilton when he was at BYU.

We held our own on rebounding too without JJ... 18 rebounds for both teams. I thought that might be a lot worse. Of course, if we had JJ... we'd be up in the rebounding though.

I think it’s was more nerves and fear.

Ive been saying this for 3 years but was told after the loss to Tech at home we needed to ditch the way we play defense. There are few in the country that play D like us.

The only time I get frustrated with it is when we stick to trapping too long against a team that can shoot the 3. Otherwise the strategy keeps us in 95% of games.

TJ pretty much predicted that in his first interview of the game. They'll wear down like about everyone does against our defense.

Aberdeen has 2 as well. Would be nice to get another couple on him since he has hit some shots.
