They can't play a full game with us. First 10 minutes to the last 10 minutes proves this. If we can hit shots and get out fast we will be in Chicago.

ISU will have no trouble winning this. Kentucky hitting a few shots was their best punch. I'm not really sure what they even try to do offensively or defensively.

Everybody mentally prepare for the tight whistle here in the 2nd half.

The officials are talking right now about a sloppy game and the lack of game flow and are going to assume it’s their job to fix it.

Going to have to make shots or Kentucky will rout them this half. 13 turnovers and only have a 1 point lead. Going to have to figure out the offense because they’re not turning it over 13 more times.

We didn't make shots this half... and we're up 1. So not sure you can say if we do the same this half that we'll get routed.

But we can't hardly shoot it worse this half... and I expect our defensive intensity to be like it always is.

Opening 4 will tell a lot about how second half goes. Kentucky started well with sets that attacked the way we trap on D. Our D started affecting them and they got away from it. I think that partially our ball pressure and partially that they aren't a disciplined team. We'll have to see if Pope can get them reset. On the other side, some of our shots just have to start falling.

If you told me we’d be 3-16 from 3 at half I would have told you were probably down 15 points, ton of grit from these dudes and forced their will on defense. Our guys are gonna make some shots second half that they missed in the first half

Obviously, I’m preaching to the choir guys, but man when you’re listening to the studio host say nobody in the SEC and hardly anybody in the country plays defense like Iowa State… That’s an absolutely awesome feeling…Kudos!!!

I’ve always loved defense, regardless of the sport. That’s the only way the Iowa women won yesterday because they were trash offensively.

That’s why nobody wants to play Iowa State!!!! and that’s why I really didn’t have tons of concerns coming into this game… Obviously it’s not over yet but….

Iowa state really has to find something else besides ball screen and Spain actions...has to be a priority in the offseason, just way too dependent on that stuff

To be ahead, or even in the game after that mess is a miracle. Guys playing their balls off, just have to make some shots.

Really…. I guess I would understand that if it was Iowa State’s claim to fame. But they ride and die with defense, the three-point shooting is just icing.

Ive been saying this for 3 years but was told after the loss to Tech at home we needed to ditch the way we play defense. There are few in the country that play D like us.
