Tamin was great in that first half. Just makes so many winning plays.

It's a freaking great environment in the building. Definitely more Cyclone fans. LOUD
idk... they have some very ball insecure handlers. they dont protect the ball well. this wasnt us jumping passing lanes. this was knocking it out of their hands. they can turtle up a bit, but that probably changes their offensive flow.
So proud of these guys for fighting as hard as they are. Almost shed a tear when Nelson forced the turnover and then drew the foul at the rack after going aggressively to the hoop. Thank you for sticking with it, Dom.
ISU is shooting 29% from 2, and 19% from 3, while Kentucky is shooting 40% from 3. If both of those things revert to the mean, look the **** out
we’re built on our defense. I wouldn’t bet they don’t turn it over 13 more times. And we won’t shoot 3-16 from three again.
That Heise shot to end the half was reminiscent of the shot he hit in Hilton against Houston.
That whole first half was all about grit. There's no quit in this team.

Oh, now. Teams commit a lot of "unforced" errors when we ratchet up the pressure.
One of our worst halves of shooting I've ever seen... and we're up 1.... Amazing!
If we just shot normally... we'd be up by 10 or more.... and had we had JJ... we'd be up by 20 probably.
Come out and keep up the defensive intensity in the 2nd half... and hopefully we'll start hitting some shots. LFG!!
