Late to this party, but super curious about your actual role in sports med and orthopedics. Are you hands on, diagnosing and treating atheletes?

In classic Cyclone Fanatic fashion, half this thread is dudes finally being able to tell the story of how they sprained their ankles 10 years ago in their driveway and how it worked out for them.
Hey, mine was 18 years ago at Inis Grove Park. I was living with Farnsworth at the time, and he knew what to do. Shame he is not here to talk about all his sprains.
I sprained my ankle in a dream once the pain was unbearable. I screamed so bad my dog fell off the bed. When I woke up though I was totally fine and ran 15 suicides.
I had a cast on my ankle for injuring my Achilles while in college. I was still able to get busy with a woman who had a boot on her foot for a sprained ankle
Really has nothing to do with basketball, just that you can still get some action if you have a boot on and the closest chance I will get to tell that story.
I take anything coming from our staff right now with a grain of salt. And I don’t blame them.

47 minutes? Don’t think we went to double OT today but maybe I was watching another game
Analytics show our net efficiency is better with JJ on the bench but that’s because he was so inconsistent this year. If good JJ was going to show up this tourney that’s a huge loss but not sure if that’s what we were gonna get or not

When I was 11 years old in 1992 I sprained my ankle at a basketball tournament in Marshall town, had to sit out 2 days.
Treatment recommended by the coaching staff ( one accountant and one engineer) was to get a slice of pizza at the concessions and to put some robitussin on it…so…I don’t expect JJ to play Sunday.

Loved the ball movement and guard heavy play post-injury. As long as we don’t go sub-25% from 3 tomorrow, we’ll have a great chance to advance without Jefferson. Then hopefully he’s healthier for next week.
I think too much of the time our team believed the offense needed to go through Jefferson. With him off the floor, other players might feel more freedom to create and initiate offense. I hadn't seen that about the analytics, but I wouldn't be surprised. That's not to dispute that good J-Jeff is a phenomenal player.
