Disagree. Maybe under the old rules it could be considered more. You take a half court shot over potentially giving up 3 free throws any time. The continuation rule has completely changed it.
Even Barkley agrees with me that it was a turrrrible decision

Well the proof is when we've played long teams
Like Baylor? The team that can space us and hit 3's with multiple shooters is what scares me (Like what Tech did to us at Hilton). Santa Clara can do that, Kentucky not so much.

I don’t like to see a team like Kentucky getting any kind of momentum from a win like that. They become a very different and dangerous team with any sort of belief in themselves or caring beyond cashing their NIL checks.
If ISU can't beat Kentucky we weren't going to go very far anyway. They are not even close to a Final 4 team.

Its okay to admit Kentucky is likely a tougher matchup than Santa Clara would have been. We should still win, but anything is possible in this crazy tournament and we've seen stretches where we've struggled against worse teams than Kentucky.

I predict no matter who wins CF will be panicking about the matchup tomorrow.
