The cowboys figured it out. Been a bit of an odd season down there for Lutz. They had some talent this year, but it was a strange combo of misfit toys, not unlike early Otz ISU teams, yet it seems like the culture wasn't really where it needed to be either. They definitely didn't embrace a distinct identity like Otz did early on.
I’m someone who liked Bill Walton, but my goodness, the Barkley/Vitale combo was so, so bad last night. I turned the sound off because of how dumb the insights were. Every once in a while, Charles has something that comes to him that is basketball smart but it was so disorganized and chaotic. They completely took away from the game rather than added to it. It made me long for King McClure.
Seemed like it. The level of commentary was much worse than any ESPN+ broadcast I’ve ever seen. They made the whole game about them, it was really bad.
Probably became sick when he saw his broadcast partners. Once again - that broadcast was off the charts horrible.
I could definitely do without Vitale. Too much talking. Just get a good play by play guy and pair him with Charles.

I don't mind Vitale and I like Charles, but having them both is just too much jabbering.
That would have been better as a podcast as opposed during a live game. Barkley had some good stories, but I would have been pissed as a fan watching my team

That South Florida pick to reach the Sweet 16 just keeps looking better and better.
Totally agree that he likely left for that reason. My point still stands - he did NOT have a good year at Virginia despite being a 5 star. Look at Omaha these past two years - he hasn't yet demonstrated that 5-star performance. Perhaps, if he dropped to a mid-major, he would likely see a similar break-out year that Power achieved. I am not trying to argue with you - Power could ultimately be on a true 5-star trajectory before his college career comes to an end - I just think he isn't as good as his original "star" rating indicates. Like I said, the tourney may give him a couple chances to show he can be a major contributor in a P5 conference.
The game itself was boring. Vitale and Barkley kept me on the channel.
He was getting PAID, quit you're whining and play. He was a good player but KU hasn't played like a team for a little while now. I don't know if it's because everyone can pay or if Self gets stuck with Stars that the boosters want that don't fit together to make a team. That dumb *ss this yr sure isn't a team player.

Nebby finally has a tourney win. Nice of the committee to give them a powderpuff team.
As someone else noted, it took a Cyclone legend to finally get them over the hump.
Siena giving it to Duke. Up 43-32 at half. That will blow up a ton of brackets if they keep it up in the 2nd half
