That’s not really true. Were his shooting numbers at EWU amazing? No, but a 43/37/84 career shooting line isn’t terrible.

I doubt we'll see Milan play the 4 full-time, so I think the #1 priority is a starting PF that can defend both posts and wings and is at least a threat from 3.

Just a reminder that Yusef Gray tore his labrum in February, which cut his high school senior season short. I believe he is on a four to six-month recovery, so he could be pretty limited in summer workouts. Not saying he can't back up Toure at PG, but he will have his work cut out to catch up before the 2026-2027 season starts.
That's already a six man rotation. Just need to add another forward or two

I don't think that's a need with Buchanan, Pleta and the Freshmen coming in. If we take a 4/5 man transfer, they probably need to be a 3pt threat.

I remember watching that game and thinking if that guy ever goes in the portal, I would love to have him. I think he was completely underrated in high school. There’s probably a player or two that’s connected to our future assistant coach as well. I have no idea who that is, but I hope it’s a good hire.
Edit. He is a small forward and was only 1-16 from three this year .
Many posters on this site were impressed by him in the game against us and thought he would be sought after in the portal.
With 4 freshman coming in and the fact that we'll have to pay all of our returning guys more money, my guess is we have a quieter portal like last year. Maybe grab a big and a guard but can't imagine we'll be able to afford any of the flashy guys looking to move up to get a big payday. Basically retain our guys as primary focus and add a couple of pieces, if possible. Worked great for us this year.
