This one reminded me a little of the Auburn game in Maui. The team with the ball last was probably going to win it. Toure played great D on the last shot but it went down anyway. Like you said, onwards...

I’ve been telling my wife that Del Orso has the most punchable face since the second week of the conference season. She agreed that he even managed to surpass Saunders from BYU in that capacity!
So Iowa State must not be very good then? Arizona is 31-2, didn't play good, and beat ISU.

If Milan didn't have a monster shooting night we probably lose by 10.

Yeah these az guys saying they didn’t play well, you had a guy averaging 8 go off for 26, took a career day from a nobody to beat us. And….fir those saying we can’t play better…come on..,taking can play better, Bateman can play way better. Az fan base starting to annoy me.
This team need Milan to be big time. That why he's here. This team competed like crazy. Proud of them. hell of a game, wish we would have hit a couple more FT or rebounded a couple more balls but were right there!!
You could say the same about Dell'orso though too. Averages 1 3 pointer a game and hit 6.
And if I had wheels, I'd be a racecar.
I think the Clones did everything they could to win. Start on a big run. Withstand the inevitable Az run in the first half...I just had to shake my head at what happened in the last 30 secs of the first half. Defense frustrated Arizona plus shut down Burries. Our perimeter D was crap plus you guys were more physical...especially in the first half. That and it seems your guys couldn't miss a 3 pointer. But if the right one don't get you then the left one will. Couldn't believe that shot at the end.
Great teams find a way to win. That's twice they have beat us now
Either way they won. We need to find a way to play better and win one of these. Its tourney time. The next loss is the end of the season.
k. and it just as easily could have gone the other way. a bunch of **** didn't bounce our way and we still hung in all the way until the end.
