The way they played tonight, I’d put them at third behind UA and UF. But catch either of those on the right night, who knows.
Tamin said that he tweaked his groin a bit but said it'll be fine.
Florida, Really? I guess I'm just unaware. I thought they have been beating good teams, but nothing in the top 15.
I didn't think he looked the same after he came back. Which makes the shot he made even more incredible. But I think he's compromised, hoping for 80% Tamin at this point.

It’s been a step up from UCONN’s schedule, but not Big12 or Big10 level for sure. But they certainly look the part. It’ll be an interesting study in how these grueling conference seasons prepare you or wear you down vs a team that’s allowed to peak at the end because they didn’t have to be at top form the last month.
It seems like they're being pumped up a bit by the ES(ec)PN mouthpiece. They're good, but this idea that they've vaulted into clearly being in the top tier seems faulty.
Florida benefitted from a soft SEC, and because they got hot at the right time are going to slide into the final #1 seed. I wouldn't put them up with Arizona, Duke, or even Michigan, UConn, Houston, or us.
Well, sometimes even a kick to the nuts needs more than a few minutes. But I was basing it on how he was standing in the tunnel. If it were an ankle I thought they’d have him sit down and take a look.
But at this point no one knows much. So to say he’s compromised sounds like PTSD.
My takeaway: I’m really going to miss watching Milan ball the f**k out.
UCONN and this Duke team don’t belong in that group either IMO. Truth is, you have two conferences where you know what you have cause you’ve seen it night after night for the last month. And you have two conferences where you just don’t know how good the top teams are because they haven’t been tested.
I was happy to see Toure get his mojo back, he had a great tournament.
I think you can put Duke there because of how they controlled Michigan in a nonconference game a few weeks back. To me that was a litmus test.
As for my actual takeaway (since that's what this thread is about): I'm going to be happy not playing any Big 12 teams for awhile.
We definitely locked in this week and showed what we are capable of. It's win or go home time going forward so I think we will be locked in every game going forward too.
The difference tonight was the bench. We got little from ours while AZ got 36 points from theirs. We took a national title contender to the last second and they beat us on a well defended shot. Tip your cap to Bradley for doing what a POY should do with the last shot of the game.
If we get a 2 seed in St Louis we need to take advantage as the path to the Final 4 is St Louis then Chicago then Indianapolis so should be a very Cyclone friendly crowd with the path we have.
