If I was a coach I would throw it and play Kelderman and Nelson and Mulder huge minutes.
And that’s why you aren’t a coach

I think these will take care of that...I do think these floors have a future with all that can be done with it but the slipping issues have to be addressed
Breaking: Big 12 Tournament moved to the surface of the sun.Let's pick a point equidistant from each school and play there.
Pleta has been looking more and more comfortable/confident in recent weeks. Batemon, too, in a different way.I'm the point where I feel like Pleta isn't much of a drop off at all from Blake. Just huge going forward to make sure they're both not gassed.
Getting there, needs to develop an outside shot, free throw line and in.Pleta has been looking more and more comfortable/confident in recent weeks. Batemon, too, in a different way.
Pleta seems to have a fluid FT stroke, too, I like that tendency (and helpful for a 5 who might get fouled frequently underneath with some and-1 opps)
Elk City OKLet's pick a point equidistant from each school and play there.
Hypothetically, if we won the big 12 tourney and did it with wins over Tech, Arizona and Houston could we snag a 1 seed?
If you average all the arenas latitude and longitude, it's a field 5 miles east of O'keene Oklahoma.
They could just pour a couple dozen 2 liters of that cheap Wal-Mart soda over it.Seemed to work for ISU. That court isn't going anywhere ($$$$$$$), so teams should adjust and get the proper shoes that don't slip. I'm sure they will tinker with the surface to see if they can reduce slippage.
I seriously doubt the tourney will move from KC. The games are all packed and people are having a great time. The city loves hosting the tournament and the fans of the original Big 12 teams all love going there. Good food, good fun, and good basketball.Denver is really the only alternative that makes sense. Its still close to the big 12, has better airport access than KC, and isn't so large that it'd disappear in that city. The unfortunate part is that Colorado has been so historically garbage that most years they probably aren't driving many fans to the arena (plus Denver has an NBA team that gets the attention)
I do think there's also something to be said though with KC, and other teams will think its a bit unfair, that there's an almost guaranteed attendance for it there so the conference doesn't take a bath on ticket sales if the wrong teams are down. ISU\KU fans (and to a lesser extent KSU/OSU) will always make sure the arena gets sold even when one or both are having a down year.
Agree, these tournaments are more about bubble team. Teams solidly in tourney probably do not move off the Friday seed line regardless of how they finish.Nah, our seed will be baked before saturday. The 1 is clearly out.
Should, but won’t. All the evidence you need is getting snubbed from a #1 in 2024. Committee only puts weight on conference tournaments only if you are a bubble team. Makes no sense.Hypothetically, if we won the big 12 tourney and did it with wins over Tech, Arizona and Houston could we snag a 1 seed?
I agree. The B12 tournament would be the 9th most popular thing to do in Vegas this week. We want it to be a big deal and for that to happen we need people to care and show up. KC is the best choice in my opinion. Maybe Dallas? That way only TCU and Baylor have the “advantage” lolI love Vegas as much as the next guy, and the tournament will probably go there at some point, but people are going to realize the environments just wont be the same. Yes Arizona fans and to some extent BYU fans will probably show up, but there is about 20 different things going on in Vegas at that time so the environment just wont be the same.
