Tried Dallas tried OKC and attendance was crap wasn't it?

It was tongue in cheek. Since every thing we lost this year, the other team being more desperate was the excuse
I was also told TJ's teams wear down every year but here they are winning by 20, 40, and 20 in the last three including against a very good Tech team.
The wear down claim was silly. The step up in competition at the end of February was significant. People would feel better if the losses were more spread out and not stacked on each other. Same will happen next year when the Big 12 back loads our schedule again.I was also told TJ's teams wear down every year but here they are winning by 20, 40, and 20 in the last three including against a very good Tech team.
Dialed what back?I think someone said they’ve dialed things back a bit this year. I’m glad they made the adjustment!

The midpoint of the conference would be somewhere in north-central Oklahoma.
OKC is really the only one that could possibly be in the same ballpark (it'd technically be closer), but KC has much better airport access for teams\fans. Also a negative on OKC given the sooners are the closest major team to there and they left.
What was the excuse in '24?
Just the performances on the court give some credence to that thought. It isn't offensive to suggest that. And it isn't offensive to suggest TJ adapted/altered his approach over the years! That said...I have no idea if he adjusted his approach. I do remember Fred suggesting he stressed the importance of rest during the season by only doing shoot-arounds and walk-thrus during the season. Just different philosophies...different players as well! Who knows...
It only happens in the Big 12, too. Stanford isn't ******** about the ACC location, neither is Oregon about Indianapolis.Seeing this every year is exhausting. I remember watching the Pac-12 when it was in Vegas and it sucked. This is a cool event in a city that actually views this event as a priority. Just leave a good thing alone.
No doubt you should be exhausted (relatively) at the end of the season...but there are methods of training to save a little of the gas to make sure you cross the finish line. Also...these guys are not going thru the grind of riding busses all around the country...they get a lot of benefits that past players only dreamed of...and deservingly so!And Fred's first team lost like 10 straight games to end, his last team was 4-4 in Feb with some other marginal finishes including *almost* three straight in '14 if not for Long's buzzer 3 but I never heard about a Fred fade.
Maybe it's just kind of a general basketball season thing.
While I think you always play to win, iowa is way better off being a 10 seed than an 8.Don't worry though. This is actually a good thing because Iowa wants the 10 seed.
