Call me crazy but I’m rooting for AZ. Would love to play them somewhere other than Tucson. Be no shame in that loss and beating Tech AZ and KU or Houston is one seed worthy.

Once a generation it has to be tried to prove it shouldn't be tried.

KC loves the Big 12 and the Big 12 should love KC.

The midpoint of the conference would be somewhere in north-central Oklahoma.

OKC is really the only one that could possibly be in the same ballpark (it'd technically be closer), but KC has much better airport access for teams\fans. Also a negative on OKC given the sooners are the closest major team to there and they left.

Even if it were somewhere else, people who have been to these understand the event is better in a more mid-sized city than in a large city with lots of events where the event disappears. KC is great because it becomes the event and the city embraces it. Vegas would suck because its just another event in a city that hosts thousands
