What an a$$ kicking that was. Really good adjustment out of the first timeout down 13-4 or whatever it was. Really glad to see that. Also if Tamin can shoot like that, sky is the limit. Changes everything if he can be respectable from 3.
This should not happen if ISU is playing in St Louis. Every able Cyclone fan should be in attendance. It's not like they would be playing in Boise or Louisville.
TJ totally outcoached McCasland in this game. Took the early game smirk and wink right off his face.
Love to hear Bilas on the call saying Iowa State “playing beautiful basketball.”
yeah he did....I think he got TJ in the first matchup, but ISU made a nice adjustment early on, and that was the end of Tech.
Yesterday’s game was fun, because we set a record for point differential in a game that was never close.
But I was far more impressed with the defensive effort this team put in today - especially after the first 5 minutes in the game… and we for the most part completely shut down TT in the second half - the type of offense that has been this defense’s Achilles heel all year. We got them to the point where they were chucking up desperate 3s and they were not falling. Meanwhile, we dictated the game on the offensive end as well.
I’m very happy with the work we put in in KC, and I feel much better about a run in the NCAAs… but I still want that revenge against AZ… and, being ambitious, our Big 12 Tourney title back.

Call me crazy but I’m rooting for AZ. Would love to play them somewhere other than Tucson. Be no shame in that loss and beating Tech AZ and KU or Houston is one seed worthy.
As safe as wood floors, absolutely. A couple slight injuries to Tech players certainly doesn't change that..
I do think these floors have a future with all that can be done with it but the slipping issues have to be addressed
