How important is it for an ISU fan to visit Kelly's in KC during the tournament? I don't know if we'll get there early enough on Friday to go there and I have the opportunity to attend a pretty cool event elsewhere on Saturday.
I went down for the tournament a few times years ago. This was when it was at Kemper and the women were at Municipal. We never had tickets for the games so we spent all of our time in Westport at various bars partying it up but we always watched the games at Kelly's with a couple hundred of our closest friends. I have no idea if that is even a thing anymore with P&L a thing.
We did scalp a couple of tickets to get in and see the women's final in 2000.
So in a nutshell I didn't even come close to answering your question.

The party will be in the P&L. I know people who go down and just watch the Iowa State games from there.
This is the kind of answer that I generally give. Tangents are good.
These people who have their cell phones hooked up to their hearing aids drive you crazy. They’re standing there talking to no one It seems, but their phones patched into their hearings.
If you're not there, I'm not going either.
Driving after visiting Kelly's seems like a horrible idea too.
We only got about 1/2 inch and the roads and sidewalks were warm enough that it just melted on them

Yup, just looked at the forecast for this weekend this morning and had to remind my snow hating wife that she is the one that said we had to go visit her friend NORTH of us during SPRING BREAK and now it is forecast to SNOW there.
A decade ago Kelly's was still fun even though the mens tourney was at P&L.
