WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Anyone have opinions on the Colorado versus Baylor game?
I don't know Colorado well now, but Baylor is a perennial good team and I was surprised that they lost. I always want Baylor to lose,.so I'm happy. I'm looking forward to watching the WV-CO game.

Baylor can't score consistently. Been an issue with them all year. No opinion on Colorado. They have likely played themselves off the bubble bu they are not a team I really care about at all. I haven't wanted any of the Big 12 the last couple of days. It's my league and all but none of these games are must watch, maybe will watch champ game if TCU is in it, Miles is one of the few league stars I think is fun to watch.

I still scratch my head on Colorado. When I watched them play ISU I thought they looked like a junior high team skill-wise. But somehow, some way they have found a way to win games. They sure don’t do it with overwhelming offense. Like KState they do it in the effort categories of defense and rebounding.

I’m not sure how it happened but I have become a monster women’s Basketball fan. I mean, obviously I became enamored with watching Caitlin Clark, but it’s way past that now. Hell, I’m currently watching Rhode Island play Davidson as we speak

Yeah, I don’t know too much about them… However, I have watched Baylor play some, and they are very inconsistent on offense as Boxster said. I’ve watched TCU, ASU K-State, KU Iowa State obviously, Oklahoma State and BYU.

As far as the effort categories go, as we have discussed, they are the key IMO.

Thoughts on K-st & CU today ?

The league needs the top two, and maybe only good teams, in the league to win today and play tomorrow.

I don't envision tuning today's Big 12 games in even though I am grounded at home by what I am calling my Delta 737 Death Cold (had to have picked it up on the airplane flight. Better games on today in those time slots, LSU/SC and Mich/Iowa, all Top 10 teams.

Agreed…though I’ll probably flip around

PS I hope you get better… I’ve had a period of health complications myself over the last six months been in and out of the hospital like 13 times kidney cancer, throwing up blood, etc. etc….

But my Spirits good and I believe I have finally begin to understand the concept that The apostle Paul preached about, finding joy in all circumstances. so there’s that…, ;)

The way this tournament has gone…it’s been fun seeing so many upsets. I’d kind of like seeing them continue!

Harvard is getting real close to beating Columbia, which will keep them out of the tournament… Princeton would get in as in at large, but Columbia will not

And last I checked , Rice 27-3, who has a pretty decent team are getting smoked by university of Texas San Antonio, which I think is under .500

Iowa and Michigan getting chippy. Michigan was not getting the benefit of the whistles. Player for Michigan fouled out and Houston waved goodbye in her face and no T.

I really hate Iowa and am rooting for them to be bounced on their home court in the tournament.

Iowa is playing like a final four team rnow
Michigan didn’t look like the belonged in the same court this year with them

How the **** do you score 42 points and you’re supposedly a final 4 team? Is Iowas defensive that good?

It is right now. Actually Iowa held Michigan to 42 points today and 44 a few weeks ago when they played. Michigan scored a total of 86 in two games v. Iowa.

We appreciate the disdain, clearly plenty of Iowa fans do not hate ISU…. :p
