The 3 pointer is a wild card every game. Some games, teams are on fire, shooting 50%+ That same week the same team can shoot less than 15%.

Difference is if those attempts are contested and/or open or not. Far too many today were very open. Any team will hit those

I’d just point out that while tech has made a bunch of garbage 3s they’ve also had a bunch that were absolutely wide open. We couldn’t rebound to save our life either

In-game knowledge of the game matters. The lead man calling plays matters. We are forced to rely solely on staff help and out-of-game coaching to succeed.

Unfortunately a team like Tech is kryptonite for us. I don't think we'll win at Arizona, but honestly that type of team is a better matchup than a team that can hit 3's like Tech

We don’t have to over help and trap though. Thats my frustration. We don’t adjust defensively for the opponent.

Probably too many flaws for this team to string 3-4 games goods enough to get to an EE or FF. Playing 2-3 guards most of the time that can’t shoot. FT shooting is garbage. The 5 position can’t defensively rebound.

Can you just stop? That was at ASU and Toppin was injured during the game so TT no time to make adjustments

Honestly do we really feel like this team can make a deep run in March? It doesn't seem to learn their lesson.

Just seems we don’t change anything up defensively. This Tech team is challenged inside without Toppin. Only way they win is getting hot from 3…,which plays into the defensive scheme we throw out there. Play straight up man to man, and we win this game.
