RTT...20-20 hindsight.

I simply quit reading Chinese fortune cookie fortunes. Don't remember when exactly. I just eat the thing as a little sweet something-something and throw the fortune away.

I realized today that I've become jaded in my senior years. This was certainly a sign.

Guess if I'd been reading them all along... I might have seen this coming.

Seen what coming?

Have people in town who went cheap and now they can’t get refunded with their Mexico trip.

Also, turns out that not planting Pioneer last year was good. Heard there are 700 reps stranded in PV, Mexico due to their flights cancelled.

Have a friend that works for Pioneer research that told me a story when he was in PV a few years ago. They have a couple of research sites outside PV and on one area they were traveling through he saw human heads on fence posts. Guys he was with told him the cartel does things like this to let everyone know who controls the area.

I stopped at the Irish bar I like after work, first time since my birthday I've been here. I have the entire bar to myself, it's glorious. My SO said we should meet here after work on occasion since no one ever comes in here on weeknights.

Our daughter and grandson came over to pick up some meat from us for her and her in-laws. While I was digging through my freezer, she questioned me about many eggnog containers. I love eggnog, and I’m the only one in my family who does. I buy the KS brand, which is a bit thinner and healthier than A&E, and I mix some skim milk with it to make my own eggnog lattes a couple of times a week after I have my morning black coffee. After pouring some out of a new bottle, I freeze the rest for later. This way, I can enjoy eggnog all year round whenever I want. She thinks I'm weird for this, but she still took home a basket of beef and pork and left in a trail of dust.

Guess what I am drinking right now?

Back to work. Today is the last day of spreading manure, and DNR visits on Friday. Can I offer them a basket of meat and an eggnog latte without it being considered bribery, even though I have no reason to bribe them? They have been good to me from the start through my new partnership. I'll ask my wife for some legal advice tonight.

I would not. Guessing they wouldn’t be allowed to take it either
