Chicago Bears bought Arlington Heights track only to build in Indiana?

Makes one wonder how the publicly owned Packers do it.

According to the Gemini the Packers have better revenue than the Bears.

Makes me think the Bears need a better stadium arrangement!!! They have more debt and lack of revenues from Soldier Field. Crazy for a team of this popularity

The difference essentially comes from Local Revenue—money the team makes outside of the NFL’s shared TV deals.

I'm guessing they'd look to put the team in eastern Iowa. That would likely pull sponsors, fans, money, etc, away from Iowa athletics. So I'm all for it

Just isn't enough money for it.

Come on we got the Dico Superfund site! We can kick Krause to the curb and use that sweet $37 million committed to the soccer stadium as a solid down payment.

Get another $20 million from local investors and we got ourselves $57 million! Just finance the rest of it and boom Des Moines Bears.

Ya only about 950 million short of that stadium commitment. Easy.
