I noticed at one point Buchanan was hanging his head on the bench and then wasn't on the bench at all when Mulder was in the game. I found it odd Mulder was out there in the 1st half. Winning tonight will differentiate this season from the last few. 1 seed possible with a 2 seed most likely. Chance to win the conference. But we have to win tonight.
Otherwise it’s like the last few years, 3/4 seed and a top half finish in the conference. Not bad but we are a lot better this year.

Similar to Saturday, I feel better about tonight than I did at TCU. Good guys for the win.
Hope to win but it is not going to be easy... teams like Houston are the ones that have beat us this year, they have athletes and play very physical defense. Will need our A+ game to win, I think we can, but its going to start by moving the ball well on offense with all the double teams Houston throws at you.
If in the first few possessions I see Jefferson dribbling it 30 times in the post I'm going to freak out
My prediction is a "Purdue-like" game. Milan goes 8-10 from 3, Cernac and Tugler are in foul trouble and Flemings is more-or-less shut down by Toure/Lipsey. A game similar to the BigXII tourney championship 2 years ago.
Houston is due for a tough game and traveling for an away Big Monday game is always rough. Final score: 73-55

2) Win the defensive rebounding battle - Houston isn't as dominant as they have been, but both teams are even on Offensive Rebounding - but they're very average defensive rebounding
3) Limit silly turnovers. ISU and Houston are #5 and #6 in forcing turnovers, but Houston is #1 in limiting turnovers. So ISU probably won't get many easy buckets or runouts from turnovers, gotta limit them going the other way too

I will update when poll comes out. Houston will go at least to 2. I think we drop to 7.
7? Who is going to jump us? Nebraska? Illinois? I don't see that. But UCONN will and we'll be 6.
