Thats pretty cool, but its just a projector that projects on the court, like the court is a screen, from above. Similar to a movie theater etc. That is why they dim the lights etc so it shows up.
Still cool, but not quite the same.
I think it would kind of cool if they made it similar to the Football field for the CCG. One side or end is one team while the other is the other.
So sideline or end lines have team name, maybe each lane has team theme of the teams playing. This could flip with the half so teams are always playing on their side, etc.
Because in the championship, what are they going to use otherwise, not really right if its say ISU floor for an ISU/KU game, unless they switch it at half or something. The only other way I can see it is if it is always the floor of the higher seed.
Will they warn those of us that get motion sickness from flashing lights before they change the design?
For some coaches in CBB, it'd be red almost the entire game.
I think when a coach is outside the box for a specific, cumulative amount of time during a game, the floor should emit a shock.
Could possibly add a touch layer to automatically call things like a player stepping out of bounds, a coach out of coaching box, traveling, etc.
On a home court it would be hilarious to have it light up the footsteps of opposing players when they foul out and are getting the left right sit down chant.
When we play Kansas. They are shooting free throws for the win. We play Jaws music, and Jaws comes up from deep to eat the shooter.
When KState plays, I want some of their potential plays outlined on the floor during their timeouts.
If this is the floor envisioned by Yormark, what is the Big XII ceiling?
Just build in some moisture sensors so Tang can know where he's needed on the floor.
