These have been two of my frustrations with Otz teams consistently. The big who can't shoot or drive holding the ball ~20 feet from the hoop (did this all the time with George Conditt in year 1), and the weak finishing at the rim.
If they win Saturday it's back to Final Four talk, can't wait!
Less to talk about when you win the games you should and more frustrations when you lose clunkers
He hasn't been listed on injury report. I mean they needed a spark and given the turnover rate I don't think he would have hurt it

Was yelling at the TV saying give him a try!! Not like TCU has a bunch of shot blockers
All I can say is they got exactly what they deserved. We all saw it...turnovers...oh my God, the turnovers...out hustled most of the game...(that's why the foul discrepancy btw...the refs see it) Can't make simple freethrows even 50% of the time...our lack of offensive cohesiveness is concerning for sure. We do not have the stud athletes that you see the Arizona, Michigan, Kansas teams have...you have to counter that with hustle, intelligence, smart coaching, and making big shots at timely times. When we don't get that...well, you see how bad we look. The good thing is, when we DO get that, we're pretty damn tough to beat. I hope they bring that good stuff against Kansas and Houston. Because we're going to need a lot of it to win.
Real lack of focus is super disappointing but I have to assume they got caught looking ahead to Kansas and Houston at home looming. These guys also always struggle in low energy environments. Flush it and get a dub against Kansas or Houston and this game doesn’t matter
I thought maybe we were past the lulls once the Cincinnati game happened because we seemed to play much better since then. Then these last two games have been ugly ugly basketball with turnovers galore.
And if Milan isn't hitting shots, we are usually in for a rough go.
Not more to talk about after clunkers, just a lot of repetitive ******** and moaning. It's ok, I get it.
At least those of you that were planning on spending money in Kansas City and wherever they go for the NCAA tournament won’t have to worry about being at either location for multiple days.
Out of everytihng to be concerned about, and I know it's like beating a dead horse but my goodness this team is AWFUL and I mean AWFUL at ft shooting.
Long time listener first time poster. TCU defense is elite. Wins against Wisconsin and Florida, and a one possession game against Michigan. Came down to the half court offense and out of the time which has always been the problem. Need to recognize that and let Tamin run the offense. Milan dictates the ceiling of this team. Finally impacting the game more than just the open 3. Him in the post and off the dribble unlocks the entire offense more than Tamin or JJ ever will.
Totally agree on the low energy environments thing......the amount of times Iowa State teams have lost in Norman in front of like 17 people is too many times to count.
Yeah, now it's like just get a 3 and hope, all expectations gone now...I've just seen enough good coaches destroy us in the half court and the weaknesses are pretty clear...I mean it's a 3 seed, maybe a 4...it's all the better they are, there was hope it could be special but it's just not a 1 seed type of team, that's fine. Now we know.
We’re 325th in the country in free throws. Right behind Lindenwood and barely squeaking out over The Citadel.
Side note: Harvard being the #1 free throw shooting team might be the least surprising stat I‘ve seen
