If this game re-centers this team, it was worth it.

But I don’t know what that was. TJ can’t make free throws or open shots for the guys. But he can call timeouts to end runs, and hold poor play accountable.

This team loses itself for long periods of time, without a head coach that calls plays to anchor it.

TJ’s in-game coaching is why Iowa State will never make a final four under his watch.

I’m 35 years old, I think it’s just part of rooting for Iowa state that even when we’re “good” we’re still frauds. We’ve had back to back seasons of talk of final 4 and then TJ does the TJ special and loses team focus and team folds. This is the start of a 3-5 type of finish to season.

Just a weird group. Capable of playing real well but you don’t have alot of faith our top 3 will perform every night. JJ is the worst good basketball player I’ve ever seen. Tamin plays his ass off but has serious offensive limitations. When teams get in Milan he disappears. Just no consistency.

It’s like TCU knew what play we were running. Never should have been in that position though. Got out played all night by a very average team. No pride by the team tonight. Just an utter collapse

We scored 55 points against a team that gave up 171 against 2 of the worst teams in the conference over the past week.

Good teams have bad games but that certainly doesn’t scream “contender”.
