Tang gonna Tang

If I'm Tang's agent I'm ignoring all calls from KState and only calling back if the messages are in regards to paying the full buyout, all the time telling Tang to keep his f'n mouth shut about everything expect coaching basketball games.

I was part of a work situation where something similar to what you described happened. A guy was getting laid off and hung up on HR and said they should only talk to him through his attorney. This wasn't some scandal where the guy broke company rules or anything, just a typical layoff. The guy made it very entertaining for those of us on the leadership team.

He managed to turn his layoff/severance into a firing with lawyers involved. No longer in the industry. I hope the same doesn't befall Mr. Tang.

Oh the irony of this quote from th earticle:
Vital is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is working towards a master's degree in counseling and student development at Kansas State.
That's hilarious. I didn't even catch that. Maybe there's still time for him to change his master's program to Criminal Justice.

Just tell the hookers he has a huge sword . . . . .

That looks like a fireable offense to me. I worked for a corporation where having a 1” long pocket knife attached to your keychain was grounds for immediate termination. Didn’t matter that it was duller than a butter knife. HR declared any and all knives, regardless of size, to be offensive weapons and having one on your person on company property was grounds for immediate dismissal because the bearer of such a weapon was guilty of creating a hostile workplace because other employees could feel threatened! The real kicker was that tiny knife had the corporate logo on it and they were handing them out for free at an open house a couple of years previously! I took it off my keychain and threw it away after reading the HR special bulletin that went out to all employees.
A three foot long sword should definitely qualify as an offensive weapon and brandishing one at work is threatening and creates a hostile work environment.

KState's administration knows their only escape from this mess is to find a premise for firing Tang with cause. Jerome better be incredibly careful from here on out because I'm sure his every move is being documented.

It gets better. He was also a member of Baylor’s national championship team.

Damn. KSU down 30-11 to Cincy at home (KSU was +2.5)

And a lot of fans in student section wearing paper bags on their heads. Yikes.

Even during that abysmal Steve Prohm season I don't remember ISU fans doing anything remotely close to that.

People liked Prohm, he just sucked. Have a hard time seeing the paper bags coming out for him.

I think Steve got a little testy towards the end of the last year when it was obvious where things were headed. But he usually owned it when we lost games and didn’t blame others or cook up some insane conspiracy theories.

Good point. That did cross my mind (but I didn't post it.) Steve seemed like a very nice guy and easy to like and root for. Tang however..ehhhh...

I still won't forgive Prohm for that season, though! lol, that record is unforgivable at ISU.
