Not sure I’ve seen someone play as hard as Tamin did today…guy put his body on the line over and over so we could beat a team that is 3-8 in conference.

According to you? Our ceiling is to be determined but we have all the metrics about this team to make a deep run. Now, does it happen? Time will tell, but to put a cap on a team who is 21-2 is a wild take.
I'll bet Kohl's and the campus union store have lines around the corner with returns after such a terrible win.

I think we can get hot and win the whole ******* thing. That is of course less likely than other outcomes though.
If ISU gets back to shooting their normal amount of threes, they will be a very tough out.

He's pretty much like that no matter who it is and I think his body was a mess before even getting to ISU.
Relax man. They fought hard, played a Baylor team that was strong on defense and had some great 3-point shooters. It was a hard fought game and I am sure by the end of the game, our guys were really tired. Of course it was a let down; my guess is the players already know that. Enjoy the W and move on.

I hate Baylor so much that I find it hard to not enjoy any win over them regardless of its circumstances.

they always play well in Ames too. Lost the last two before today. League is a ******* grind no matter what a team's record is.
ISU could win the NCAA tournament by winning each game by 4 and many would still struggle with someone not getting benched because they had a bad couple of minutes.
I do wonder if not playing Nelson is affecting the morale of the time like it did the year Hoiberg refused to play Edozie.
I guess we saw different games. I saw a Baylor team that played very tough on defense and covered Momcilovic like a blanket - and he still scored 21 points. I saw a team that outrebounded a very good rebounding team; we came into the game ranked lower than Baylor in RPG. I saw a team that struggled from 3 early on that found other ways to score until the long balls started to fall. Yes, and I saw too many turnovers; we generally excel on turnovers. So, overall, I saw a team find a way to win when some things weren't going their way. That to me defines a champion. Go Cyclones. Love your ballin'.
