I’m looking at this now, I can’t quite figure out how big it is. What’s a comparable size vehicle? What’s wrong with the CCS?
I would consider it on the small side of the medium suvs. Similar to hrv, escape, forester. It's not much smaller than a blazer, mach e or crv. We had a loaner ice equinox for a bit and was surprised it wasn't as small as we thought.

As for the ccs, more brands are going to the nacs plug. If you get an adapter its not an issue.

There is an equinox gas version too. Like the other poster said, it is about as big as a RAV4. Mid size SUV that you can get with three rows of seating, i think.

As for CCS. Is is the charging port before the NACS (Tesla) standard. Nothing really wrong with, but that moving forward, more chargers will be built with NACS. There is and adapter you can purchase. We have one for our vehicles just in case we have to charge at a Tesla charger, though we never have.

In summary, It is like having an iPhone with lightning port about 3 years ago. The new standard is USB-C but you have a lightning port.

Equinox would not be 3 rows. Daughter on her second. Traverse would be the three seater. I consider the equinox a small, traverse medium and Tahoe or suburban as full

Don’t think it’s bad. There’s a move to NACS as a standard plug. That’s the charging Tesla built
I think you could get an adapter if you needed to charge at a Supercharger
 
Even if you got an EV with NACS, you’re going to want an adapter for CCS. It’s going to be a while until NACS is standard everywhere.

Anytime I went anywhere long enough I’d need a supercharger it’d probably be in my wife’s ICE anyway. Thinking hard about that equinox. Don’t really need a car now but that’s a deal

Everyone is moving from CCS to NACS, so that they can use the Tesla Supercharger network. You would just need to use an adapter, and if you charge at home most of the time, it wouldn't be a big deal. At least this is what I've heard, I've never owned a vehicle with ccs

Fires are not a solely EV problem. Yes, EV fires can be harder to put out. But they catch fire at a much lower rate than ICE cars (rate meaning that we take into account number of fires per number of vehicles). Here are a few recent examples:

The poster has been told this on numerous occasions. They don't like fancy things like stats.
 
This came up on my feed and I quite frankly LOVE the idea.



I also think EV adoption goes way up if you incentive home solar and batteries to insulate the cost of energy to households.
 
As usual, Toyota is not breaking any ground, but this should sell well for those people that are devoted Toyota buyers. A lot better than their first BEV. Price is going to be so important on this one. IMO it really has to be under $60k. Watch my video on the Rivian R2, and you'll see why.

Range and charging speed will make or break that thing. If they stuck with the 450V charging system I think they're in trouble.
Educate me on this. Can Tesla get by using the same sort of system because their cars are that much more efficient? Or do you think Tesla also needs to improve(not including the CT)?

Honest question here: why are cars like this and the Kia Telluride close to 60k and cars like the rav4 like 30k? What happens in that slightly larger size to so drastically increase the cost?

Now that is a vehicle thay could really appeal to a lot of people.
I like the looks of it quite a bit.

I dont know why but I like that Range Rover look a lot where the body is silver and the windows and pillars are black.

I have a 2021 Telluride that is completely maxed out, and it costs $52k. A loaded RAV4 (non hybrid) is $41k. The telluride has a v6, bigger/better infotainment, heated and cooled captains chairs in the second row, a third row, a lot nicer interior, quieter interior, smoother ride, can pull 5k lbs, compared to 1,500, napa leather, dual sunroof, a lot more room throughout, HUD, etc. If you drove them side by side, you'd instantly tell the difference. Some things are personal preference. I usually prefer a v6 over a turbo 4, but the last 4 turbo I drove in a Toyota was a lot better than the 6 I have in the Kia. The new Telluride is also moving to a turbo 4 like everyone else.
