CW POD: Is pro wrestling fun again?

Yeah very good point about Cena's retirement run. I liked a bit how they're building up Gunther as the career killer but the problem with that is once he "kills" a career, that abruptly ends the story thread.

Yeah, and they seem to be leaning into it, not sure how many more people he can retire that would be big events, Brock? Rey (assume Dom would be that one)?

I'm a little concerned it's setting up for him and Orton at Wrestlemania. Orton hasn't really been involved in anything major in quite a while and you have to wonder when he's going to be done.

Cowboy Bob wrestled into his mid-60s and had a lot more mileage on his body, I'd be surprised if Randy was close, especially with the schedule he's working now.

I think they're building it to retire Brock in Minneapolis this summer. Would get him great heat and solidify him as a main eventer for the next 5 years.

Does retiring Brock get him heat? I think most people would prefer Brock just retire on his own.

Man how bad is WWE creatively right now. Just absolutely no juice, then you have Bron out for a while.

What are we on-- like our 3rd "masked man" angle? That's about all Triple H seems to have creatively at this point...

Sounds like they are ratcheting up the heat on him because Wrestlemania sales are really low. But I don't know what they can come up with to generate interest with this current roster. Not enough buildup of the young guys to have them main event, but there just is not enough intrigue with the older guys to have a top-tier match. Cody-Jacob-Drew? Meh.

Yeah, that episode was pretty lackluster. Seems like they are spinning their wheels. The Vision losing their top 2 guys that were probably a large part of mania isn't helping. Maybe get a Bronson Reed push a bit now, crazy to think they he pinned Roman and then nothing.

Hopefully Oba and Je'Von can add something new to the show.

Not sure how they would get there but get me Randy/Cody at mania over Cody/Drew/Jacob.

Curious how they are going to handle Gunther and elimination chamber, assume someone on the tail end of career interferes next week or at Chamber, can't imagine a clean loss for him.

Retire Brock?

I thought they were trying not to use him because of his closeness to Vince and Vince’s whole sexual slavery/depravity/trafficking stuff.

Hey, I watched the royal rumble thing a few days ago. When did the women wrestlers start wearing full body suits?

Also, that was some really bad acting.

Raquel Rodriguez and Nia Jax is only only who wears them on a constant basis. Only time entire women's roster has to is when they are in Saudi.
