Chuck Negron Passes Away (Singer Three Dog Night)

Sad. I loved Three Dog Night growing up. Mama Told Me was one of my favorites.

FOr some reason I vividly recall a tv ad that ran when Negron was performing at Prairie Meadows like 100 years ago. "The voice of 3dog night!'

Rock and Roll hall of fame is the biggest joke on the planet. Just terrible. NFL is trying to do a "Hold my Beer" moment with not putting in Kraft and Belechick. However, Rock and Roll hall of fame is dreadfully bad
You talking about the same Kraft who's legal defense for solicitation charges were coordinated by Epstein, and who's a good friend of Diddy? Got feeling he won't ever make it into the NFL Hall of Fame.

Despite the icky stuff, I feel the bar for an owner has to be a bit higher than just having a team that won a lot.

After Joy to the World came out my brother and cousins convinced our parents to take us to their concert we heard they were planning in Davenport. Unfortunately, unable to get tickets.

A lot of their songs were covers and they actually improved on the original. One, for example.

Saw them twice in concert, once in high school, once in college. I remember them starting out "Eli's Coming", passing a single mic around for each of their opening parts. Corey started it. Danny did the second one, and Chuck did the "girl you better hide your heart, your lovin' heart - Eli's a comin' and the cards say..." and he really vamped it up. Corey finally grabbed the mic and said something like "it's MY turn" and fronted the rest of the song. They were having fun, and dragging the crowd along with them. Easily the best concerts I've ever attended.
