PSU Campbell Presser

They should be favored in every game except Michigan, and maybe USC and at Washington. 9 should be their expectation. I’ll tell you their fan base is looking for more.
Yeah, there are not four losses on that schedule if you're an average college football team. It's absolutely embarassing.

Utilizing those endless resources to bring in Chase Sowell and Kooper Ebel.

Same squad that went the most uninspiring 8-4 ever is going to magically become a national title contender.
Maybe that's what he's trying to prove. The schedule sets him up nicely. People always said that MC wanted to be an NFL GM more than a coach, and they were really good at finding guys and getting some of them into the NFL here. The last piece is that CFP run to show everybody how he's better at this than anybody.

The schedule here set him up nicely too. Then we squeaked by Arkansas State, got absolutely destroyed by Cincinnati, lost to a god-awful Colorado team, got punked by BYU, and then lost to Arizona State at home playing their backup QB.

Even with Ped St recruits the last ten years, they were far from being a NC contender.

Penn State has 37 guys in the portal. Things have gone sour in Happy Valley

I don't pay any attention to the Penn State online rumblings, but I have to imagine they aren't real thrilled are they? They aren't in on any of the big-time transfers that I can see, and are instead picking up a bunch of guys that were very mid-level dudes in the Big 12.

As far as I can tell every kid they've gotten was an ISU player or commit. I don't follow any of their fan sites but it looks like he's just replacing Penn State with Iowa State and will roll with that.

Don't get too excited... Grande was already here on Campbell's staff.
Just having a special teams coordinator position vs an analyst position is a big difference, which is what he was under Campbell. We didnt have a special teams coordinator under Campbell. At least that's what I had heard guys like CW and others say in the past. Here is what AI has to say about it, for what that is worth. It does track what I've heard others say.

Yes, there's a huge difference: a Special Teams Coordinator (STC) is a full-time, on-field coach responsible for game plans, play-calling, and player development for all kicking/return units, while a Special Quality Control (QC) Analyst is an off-field, behind-the-scenes analyst who breaks down film, researches opponents' tendencies, and provides data to the STC and other coaches for strategic input, acting as a crucial analytical support system rather than a primary decision-maker. QC coaches are entry-level support; the STC is a strategic leader.
