PETERSON: Iowa State’s “pick your poison” offense strikes again – in an eye-popping way

One of the things I like best about this team is that they don’t seem to give up runs once they have a lead. Never felt like West Virginia had a chance to come back.

I thought WVU's gameplan to start was brilliant. Slow the pace way down, hit the boards.

ISU just has too many weapons for WVU to keep up. But there sure were some wake up call moments early for ISU. Once Batemon got the Clones rollin' it was full steam ahead with the scoring runs.

Their game plan was great, they just had no depth. This year it feels like there is no dip in offensive or defense production when the bench is rotated into play.

If Toure keeps progressing at the same rate and gets his scoring going there is a descent chance he gets drafted. In that instance I'm still super excited to see Batemon take a huge role next year. He isn't getting the same recognition Toure is but dang does he look better every time he hits the floor.

Every plan is great until you start missing shots.

Milan’s growth as a shooter, Jefferson’s all-around game, Lipsey looking healthy, Toure playing like an upperclassman, Buchanan effective from the dunker spot, this team has a lot more on offense than I expected.
