Wesley Johnson. I do think he would have been really good had he stayed. Can anyone name a transfer that had a more successful season once they transferred to another team? I can’t think of one who benefitted from transferring out of Iowa State (more playing time, better draft status, etc)
Just looked at his stats. Yep he is having a solid year.Onyedim
I was thinking football, but interesting on the basketball fella.Or are we doing football only?
Phillip Bates comes to mind for football.I was thinking football, but interesting on the basketball fella.

Couldn't beat out Arnaud and pouted.Man thats a big what could have been at ISU.
Justin Hamilton went to LSU and ended up being draftedShawn Taggert was an overtime away from being a National Champ @ Memphis.
Do you think he would have been our #2 running back if he stayed?Eli Sanders had a good year at New Mexico and then was doing decent for USC before he got hurt.
Had he stayed Jimmy Butler would’ve been a cyclone iircWesley Johnson. I do think he would have been really good had he stayed.
Doubt it. The reason he left was because he was behind Sama and Hanson on the depth chart while here; doubt he would have jumped one of them.Do you think he would have been our #2 running back if he stayed?
That is what I was thinking too. The kids who went to the SEC and such didn’t pan out at all (besides Oneydum)There's a few, most recently Onyedim to A&M.
Honestly, a larger number of the former ISU players who left (especially when they transfer "up" or to schools perceived better than ISU) it hasn't usually gone as well production wise.
There's quite a few guys...like I wanna say Beau Blankenship who transferred "down" to Ohio Bobcats and had a very productive time there, though.
Your description is Ish Young. There's a few, most recently Onyedim to A&M.
