New Arrowhead?

Copying ISU and building a pedestrian bridge I see...
Actually doesn't seem like much exciting stuff is happening outside the stadium, just the bridge and "activation zone"

Nothing is sacred in the NFL owners search for more money. Not saying Arrowhead is sacred but isn't it supposed to be one of the best homefield advantages out there?

But if they want a generic copy of every other domed stadium like every other NFL team then so be it. nasty.

PLAY FOOTBALL OUTSIDE DAMIT. This country is too soft.

This whole thing is disgusting. You’re going to leave one of the best home-field advantages in the NFL? Talk about completely wasted money. But that’s par for the course now. Pro stadiums aren’t even getting 25 years of use before they are considered “obsolete” by ownership. Such a waste.

Almost 10 years exactly since the Rams announced they're leaving.

Missouri going from two to zero NFL teams.

Our local idiots just pushed through a new 2-3 billion dollar boondoggle for the Spurs to vacate their 21 year old stadium.

They once again sold it with the idea of it bringing in tons of restaurants and businesses to the area. It won’t.

They built the last one next to MLK blvd…and it’s still exactly what you’d expect it to be.

You can’t make investments flow into dumpsters. They know that, but the city leaders will defraud millions for themselves in these deals as well.

It’s all money laundering.

It’s why I moved out of Bexar Co.

For a goddam DOME too

I know Arrowhead is not THAT new but it's not that old either. I'm shocked they and Royals are looking elsewhere. I thought they had a real nice setup there.
1. Engineers say both it and the K are literally crumbling 2. The city needs a large venue to host indoor events during cold months like the super bowl.

That seems hyperbolic. If it was literally crumbling structurally speaking, they'd cease to host anymore events immediately. My guess is it's a lot of architectural concrete, aesthetics ect.

As a taxpayer, funding the stadium should be a yes. The commitment to ongoing maintenance is a hard and fast no if I called the shots..

See US Bank Stadium.. They paid off the stadium note early and it's generally been a success. The issue moving forward is the ongoing maintenance. That should be the owners responsibility IMO

The concrete is slowly chipping away. I never said it wasn't structurally sound. Look it up. Its slowly turning to dust.
