Kinda funny the same Michigan fans who wanted Dillingham are now throwing him under the bus.

I mean, ASU is committing crazy money.
Overall package still less than Michigan. ASU much less tradition and opportunity to win it all than Michigan. So, again according to prevailing wisdom why on earth would he stay at a ‘inferior’ program in an ‘inferior’ conference? I am reliably assured by many that is ‘just not the way it works’.
 
Different people have different goals, and peoples' goals can change over time as well. If you want to win it all, then yes, you're probably going to have to leave a school like Iowa State eventually.

At the moment it seems like Dillingham's goal is to enjoy coaching his alma mater and staying close to family while his kid grows up. And maybe that'll change 10-15 years down the line.
