Reading UNi’s hype page for the game. Says Jaeger is leading the nation with over 10 defensive rebounds per game. Thats impressive. Goebel is averaging nearly three blocks per game and over two steals. No doubt they will be pesky on defense in this one. Regardless what the records say, ISU had best come out at 100% in this one.

Good Lord I just looked at the weather report on the old Apple here and it is - 8 in Ames at 9:00. Nome Alaska is plus 8 at the moment but they're taking a big dive tomorrow. Ames is 2750 miles south of the north pole!! Ya'll seem to get the tail end of all the northern vengeance. I'm headed to the Dickies Arena in Ft Worth to watch the lopsided matchup. Supposed to be high of 48 today in Ft Worth, but where I live 120 miles South a high of 56. Don't anybody get jealous now.

Yes…Carl will be there also along with the wives for the first time ever. One year may make them decide to never do it again. We’ve warned them we are watching more than ISU basketball.

You know some people come to the tourney and only watch their team play. Which often means they watch the sorriest game of the day and miss the best ones.

By the end of the day I'm going to be basketballed out. I watched the slaughter at Dickies Arena between TX & BU. Now I'm at TCU watching their game against Jacksonville. Brought my chrome book in so I could tune in to the Cyclones on ESPN+ at 5:00. That's probably enough ball for one day even for a fanatic.
