I’m not ready to conclude this is anything positive. I’m also not willing to conclude anything on their faces suggests they’re checked out.
Considering we know absolutely nothing about him, I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Were on the outside looking in so unless someone leaks something or were a fly on the wall we'll never know know what he said.

I am not lmao. Iowa State and Oregon fan. I originally tweeted out in October that I “Wouldn’t be surprised if a Matt Entz, Tim Polasek, Jimmy Rogers, Brent Vigen, or some other high level FCS head coach were to replace Matt Campbell at Iowa State. Midwest ties + gritty/tough mentality. I would liken this to what Kansas State did with Klieman, but maybe someone younger. Jason Eck too”
The other side of all of this is that not all of these guys might be welcomed by the new staff.
Ive listened to a ton of his interviews the last 24 hours and he went in there saying I am here to win a championship, a national championship, he is not messing around. Whether thats even remotely possible can be debated.
They will discard the weak quickly based on anecdotal evidence from his sds days.

Most are looking directly at Rogers. Making eye contact. Processing an incredible amount of info in 48 hours that few 18-23 year olds know how to handle. They’ve been hearing in one ear “your AD betrayed you/let you down” and in the other “your coach betrayed & abandoned you”, and very little else. Probably getting texts or calls damn near 24/7 from friends, family, etc.

Most of the starters have probably been getting calls from other schools etc so there's that as well
I've listened to a few of his postgame interviews and his style is a heck of a lot better than the BS coach speak we got from Campbell. That will be refreshing. Not a Campbell basher at all but that was one thing that drove me nuts.
I also saw that Rocco's mom liked it on Instagram if that means anything.
If 5 starters stick around I’ll be shocked we kept that many.
