I honestly don't have words...

Well come Thursday we'll see if Stirtz is the best point guard in the state like media likes to claim. Personally I hope Tamin and Toure beat him like a rented mule.

McCollum is amazing, blah, blah, blah TJ is the best coach in this entire state since he came back.

I hope we bury the Hawks so bad their crappy fan base is leaving Hilton with 5 minutes left in the game.
Smith 3x the player wonder boy at suckeye is …..Painter 3x the coach as mcsuck is also. …
I wanna bury these suckeyes by 30++

Since the the St, Johns Game we have won on average by more then 20 points in the last 4 games. TJ working to get that max point differential even outside the tournament.

My recollection on that Drake loss in addition to the reasons you mentioned was that Mike Nurse was hit by a bus and out for that game. Had he played, we probably win that game and without that pre conference loss , may have ended up with a #1

I’m guessing he was wanting to suit up, I loved his ability to hit absolute dagger 3s late in games

Toure was playing the final defensive seconds, like we were 3 points down!
I don't think TJ was too happy about it either. He yelled at Toure to back off on the final possession. Maybe the one or two possessions before that a well. I honestly think Toure was just so focused he had trouble not defaulting to pressing. Kid's relentless.

Our defense is “seek and destroy.” We kicked Lawyer’s ass and Kaufman-Renn was seeing ghosts. Purdue hates it but there was nothing they could do about it. I feel like TJ has cracked some kind of code and nobody can figure out what to do.
Know nothing about Purdue. Did hear mention of a first team all American.
I would have never known, given his play, or lack there-of.
Speaks volumes about our d

Toure's defense reminded me a lot of the way Lipsey plays defense the first time I saw him. But Toure doesn't seem to get tired at all.
He has so much length, strength, and knows how to use his chest to control the offensive player without getting the fouls.

It also feels like he is figuring out his offense will work. He’s in such a great situation to be able to grow in that he can be our 4th option on offense so he doesn’t have to press.

Purdue missed quite a few open looks in the second half. I wonder if it was just poor shooting, or maybe fatigue related to ISU's defensive intensity, or just getting into their heads? They even struggled from the line. I like to think it was more than them just not making shots.

I'm sorry...he's a white guards worst nightmare.
